During this class, we will recreate some of the masterworks from The Phillips Collection on exhibit at Kimbell Art Museum in Fort Worth May 14-August 13. Students will learn about distinctive Impressionist, Post-Impressionist and Expressionist while recreating a painting each day. Afterwards, take your child to this stunning Kimbell exhibit to see 70 original paintings from artists like Van Gogh, Matisse, Cezanne, Degas, Bonnard, de Stael, Picasso, and Rothko. Many of these works have not traveled together in more than 20 years. Grades 1-6
Parish Episcopal School: July 10-14, 1 to 4 p.m.
Folk art is the art of the everyday, rooted in traditions that come from community and culture, fostering connections between art and people while uniting all the cultures of the world. During this weeklong class, we will create in our own style many of the works which are at the Museum of International Folk Art in Santa Fe…paintings, totems, wall hangings, critters, and masks. Grades 1-6
Parish Episcopal School: July 17-21, 1 to 4 p.m.
One of the great mysteries about artists is the source of their inspiration… Rodrigue’s Blue Dog, O’Keefe’s Perdanal, Obata’s national parks, Degas ballerinas, Monet’s water lilies. Where do artists get their inspiration? During this week we will explore artists, their muses and create them for ourselves. We will also find and make our own muses in different mediums and sizes. Get ready for a very inspirational and visual week! Grades 1-6

There’s an artist in everyone. During this week-long class, we will recreate some of the masterworks from the greats...Kandinsky, Cezanne, Thiebaud, Klee, Picasso, Manet. Every day, students will learn about a different master, build creative confidence and take home a completed acrylic painting. Grades 1-6
Parish Episcopal School: August 7-11, 1 to 4 p.m.
Howdy y’all!, let’s explore Texas superlatives and create art about them! Not only will we learn about our great state, we will make great art in all kinds of mediums. From the Alamo, Big Tex to quarter horses and oil fields, this will be a weeklong lesson in all things Texas! Grades 3-8
